A warm welcome to Clanfield Bowls & Sports Club's website!
Clanfield Bowls & Sports Club (C.B.S.C.) has been created primarily in response to villagers' demand for a leisure hub and meeting place in our village. The intention is like-minded folk can meet up, make new friends and pass their time in a pleasant, casual environment. The Club is a registered non-profit making Charity and a members-only Club.

This new facility has ample parking, a bijou café & evening bar and an all-weather playing surface that means it can remain open all year. People of all ages will always be most welcome and, in addition to the Bowls play, the Club provides a full range of Leisure Events. (Please note - some events will have a nominal entrance fee to cover costs of catering, live music etc.)

Experienced Bowlers are encouraged to join, and indeed help with any coaching assistance that they can offer. For those who have never bowled before, don’t worry you will be in good company as current research has shown that over three quarters of the initial membership had never bowled before. Our Club is proud to provide all the necessary equipment and coaching to enable new players to try out the game.

In due course, if we find we have a sufficient number of keen players, our intention is to join the Portsmouth and District leagues. For the moment members simply enjoy some casual sport and good company in comfortable surroundings. Generally, as the Club develops there will be milestone events and progress updates (see “Latest News”). The Club also produces a regular newsletter which is sent to all members and is also available on this website.
