Joining Our Club
Clanfield Bowls & Sports Club is a registered Charity and members-only Club. In more normal times, we would be encouraging you to come along to the Pavilion to see what we have to offer and just how straightforward it is to join us. However, at the moment, if you would like to visit the Club would you please contact our Membership Secretary, Geeti Granger, to arrange an Introductory Visit with our Chairman, Michael Trippick by:

During your visit you will be able to try some bowling if you’d like to. If you are new to bowls, we have a range of bowls and equipment that you can use.

When you are ready to join please:

  • Complete the online application form by clicking the Join Us/Renew button (below).
    OR
  • Contact Geeti Granger who will be able to complete the application form for you.

Membership Fees

FULL Membership (1 April-31 March) – £120 per annum.
This allows each Full Member to play unlimited bowls with no extra charges in the short term. If and when we decide to enter league play there may be nominal, one-off playing fees per match. The membership fee also entitles the member to attend their choice of leisure events (subject to any space limitations and payment of the Member admission rate).

Full Members may each sign in up to 2 Guests who may use the Pavilion, attend fund-raising social events at the Member’s Guest admission rate or play bowls on payment of the Member’s Guest rates.

FAMILY Membership (1 April-31 March) – £120 per annum.
Any one member may add up to three children, who will be under the age of 16 at the end of the membership year, on to their Full Membership. Please contact Geeti Granger, our Membership Secretary, to add your children to your membership.

Current WINTER Members are able to upgrade to FULL Membership or FAMILY Membership (1 April-31 March).

SPORTS Membership (1 April-31 March) – £60 per annum.
Sports Members have full use of the Pavilion facilities (when available) and are entitled each year to receive newsletters. They also have the opportunity to participate in fund-raising social events at the Member admission rate. They are able to participate in any sports or exercise activities organised for Members but are required to pay a nominal fee of £5 for a game of bowls.

Sports members will not be able to sign in Guests.
